Suggestions on preparing your recording
REMEMBER! A good sound source produces a good copy in vinyl.
Here a few advices on how prepare at best your recording.
- The vinyl reproduces frequencies included between the 20Hz and the 18000 Hz. Removes from your recording the frequencies not included in this range;
- Frequencies lower than 400 Hz must be in phase. Do not use stereo effects on the low frequencies (phaser/chorus/stereo enhancer);
- Attention to the frequencies between the 8000-9000Hz. These frequencies on the vinyl ring very intensely;
- Uses de-essere for vocal parts.
