Artist Background

Where did you grow up, and how did your surroundings influence your connection to music?

I grew up in the south of Holland (Hey, tracktitle) in a small village with beautiful landscapes. Always try to implement that in my music.

What’s your earliest memory of creating music?

The start of creating music was around 2008. At that time, I mainly made trance music, but through the years, I found myself in different genres, like progressive house and techno.

How has your sound changed as you’ve grown personally and artistically?

My sound changes through the years, because I produced in more different styles, but the funny thing is that I blend different sounds in different genres!

What’s one major sacrifice you’ve made to stay dedicated to your music?

I didn’t have to make big sacrifices for the music, because I have already been a full-time DJ since 2005, so it was easy to combine.

Why is it important for artists to share their struggles as openly as their successes?

I found out that, no matter how good you are, the help of others is super valuable. That’s why I really enjoy helping other producers where necessary.
